Research Associate, Endicott College Program Evaluation and Research Group (PERG)
Gretchen Porter has been a research associate at the Program Evaluation and Research Group (PERG) at Endicott College since 2011. She is a veteran researcher with experience in multiple areas such as education, the arts, science, and business, and in diverse contexts including schools, museums, police departments, and after-school programs. Gretchen is passionate about education. Having raised four children, each with unique special needs, she has developed and appreciation for the challenges and importance of education and teaching. She is a data geek who recognizes the power of storytelling and enjoys working collaboratively, through inquiry and data analysis, to uncover meaningful insights that allow those involved to have their story told in a way that informs and inspires.
Gretchen received her B.A. in Sociology from the University of Houston and an M.A. in Educational Research from Lesley University. She is also a silversmith and jewelry designer and has taught classes for aspiring jewelry artists, both young and old.
